Five Nations Network
The Five Nations Network is a unique forum in England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales for sharing practice in formal education for citizenship and values.
Convened for the past ten years by the Institute for Global Ethics UK Trust (IGE UK), with funding support from the Gordon Cook Foundation, the Network holds an annual conference bringing together teachers, policy makers, curriculum planners, inspectors, NGO representatives and others. Participants share practice, take part in interactive workshops, develop collaborative projects, and plan for improving the effectiveness of citizenship and values education across the five distinct education systems of the UK and Ireland.
