From 1999-2010, supported by the Comino Foundation and Gordon Cook Foundation, IGE UK led a long-term project entitled "Personal Responsibility: Building a Responsible Society" that sought to encourage a culture of increased individual responsibility throughout the United Kingdom.
The project had as its vision:
"A society in which people throughout the UK feel encouraged and empowered to exercise personal responsibility in their individual lives and wider communities."

Responsibility and Civic Leaders
Series of consultations (2005 and 2006) which led to the publication of the ‘Role of the Civic Mayor in the 21st Century’ in partnership with the London Mayors’ Association.
Series of consultations (2002 and 2003) that led to the re launch of the PressWise Trust as Mediawise in 2004.
Values, Rights and Responsibilities
Series of consultations (1999-2000) that led to the creation of the Impetus Awards (2002-2008).
